Before surgery After
april 2010 july 2010

Hello! this is my personal look into my weight lose journey... I am 40 year old woman over weight and didn't know what she wanted out of life besides living obese and several health problems following me every where i went. I topped out at 383lbs and doctors told me i was going to die if i don't lose the weight. I looked into baraiatric surgery for several years but there was always something stopping me, out of pockets expenses, or they would'nt take my insurance. At that point i finally gave up on the the whole surgery route. But, one day i went to sparrow weight management information setion. I went a few years before that but, they would take my insurance but, now they do. I was inpressed with the whole program and signed up and got started right away. My surgery was scheduled for April 28, 2010. An update today on june 14, 2010 i have lost 71lbs since january 21, 2010 and lost 35lbs since my surgery. I am happy how things are progressing with the weight loss and i am off my blood suger medication.
If you would like to send me a note please do so at the bottom
UPDATE:
On July 27, 2010 i have lost a total of 52 pounds since my surgery. Since January i have lost 88 pounds. I am doing good and finally am able to keep lots of things down without vomiting. My folic acid is low so now i'm taking folic acid. I have lost 20 inches from my waist since january. I feel really good and can't believe i have lost so much already. But, i have a long way to go.
August 8, 2010
I have lost a total of 57 pounds since my sugery and 93 pounds since january 2010. This is the hardest thing thati ahve ever done but i recommended it to anyone that is in tha position i was in health wise. My hair is starting to get a little thin means i need to eat more protein and everyone loses some hair and it does come back. I have so much more energy than before and i can walk without my legs hurting like their going to fall off.
